Quiet, peaceful, well maintained. Great place to run and bring your pup. I like it better than twin lakes for its quietness and beauty.
Visited during reenactment in August. Very good show put up by the volunteers. Gives a good understanding about the American History.

I've been going to this park and exploring the woods as well as the historic battlefield for over 39 years. It's a great place to hike, walk your dogs or just relax outside on a nice day. Not typically crowded and easy to find.
